If My Words Remain In You

Discipleship Devotional Study Guide- God's Word - John 15:7 - If My Words Remain In You - Growing As Disciples

Discipleship Devotional Study Guide- God’s Word – John 15:7 – If My Words Remain In You – Growing As Disciples

If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. John 15:7 (NIV)

Vitally Connected

Will you remain in me? Will you allow my words to remain in you? Those are two very important questions. You must not take them lightly or pass over them quickly. I want to you to deeply consider these questions. Why is that? I don’t doubt the importance of these questions. I would like you to teach me why they are vitally important. You have used a good word. What word was that? You used the word vitally. The word vitally is closely related to the word vitality. Do you want to live vitally connected to me so that your life is filled with my vitality? I want to live my life vitally connected to you. I want to live a life filled with your vitality. What would that look like? How will I know if I am vitally connected to you? How can I be certain that I am living a life filled with your vitality? Those are all very good questions.

To live your life vitally connected to me, my word must remain in you. You must let my word dwell in your richly. You must hunger and thirst for my word. You must feast on my word. You must allow my word to change your heart and transform your mind. How can I do all of that? If you meditate on my word day and night it will change your heart and transform your mind. You will know the truth of my word and it will set you free to live your life fully with and for me. My thoughts will become your thoughts. My ways will become your ways. You will know me. You will know and do my will.

You asked, “How will I know if I am vitally connected to you?” Yes, I did. As my word remains in you, your thoughts and words and deeds will come into alignment with my will and my ways. You will think thoughts, speak words, and do deeds that are consistent with my word. You will be made able to pray prayers that I will hear and answer. You will want what I want. You will ask for my will to be accomplished. You want to bear much fruit for my kingdom and bring glory to my name. I will hear and answer your prayers. I will bear much fruit through your life. That is how you will know that you are vitally connected to me. That is how you and everyone else will know that you are truly one of my disciples. This is how you will know for certain that you are vitally connected to me. That is the prayer of my heart. This is what I want. That is very good. That is what I will give to you. I will hear and answer your prayer.

Lord, help me to remain in you and your word. Fill my heart and mind and soul with your word. Teach me how to live and pray according to your purposes and plans. Show me what to ask for in prayer. I trust you will hear and answer my prayers to you. Amen

Key Question… What prayers has the Lord brought to your heart and mind as you have remained in Him and His word?

Living It Out… Remain in Christ and His word so that you will be able to pray prayers that He will hear and answer.

Seeing It Happen Have faith that as you remain in Christ and His word you will be able to pray prayers that He will hear and answer.

The Truth Will Set You Free

Discipleship Devotional Study Guide - The Mind - John 8:31-32 - The Truth Will Set You Free - Growing As Disciples

Discipleship Devotional Study Guide – The Mind – John 8:31-32 – The Truth Will Set You Free – Growing As Disciples

To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:31-32 (NIV)

Hold On

Do you want to be my disciple? Will you hold on to my teaching? Will you make my word the priority of your life? Would you like to know the truth? Will you allow the truth of my word to set you free? You have asked me a lot of questions. I will start by saying that I want to be your disciple. I want to be one of your followers. I know that as your disciple and follower I must hold on to your teachings. I’m sure that, “by holding” to your teaching you are not referring to a light grasp. I will hold on to your word for dear life. Your word is and will be the priority of my life. I will meditate on your word day and night. I will let your word dwell in me richly. I will seek your word more than silver or gold. I will let your word guard and guide my life. That will be very good.

Let’s talk about how my word will set you free. I’d like that. My word has the power to change your heart. My word has the power to transform your mind. Would you like a new heart? Would you like a new mind? Yes, I would like a new heart and a new mind. You are right about the importance of the firmness of your grip in taking hold of my word. Occasional hearing of my word will not change your heart or transform your mind. You must feast on my word. You must take my word into your heart and mind. The world and all that is in it is working full time to conform your heart and mind according to its patterns, practices and values. You must allow my word to remain in you continually. You must hunger and thirst for my word. You must allow my word to have a far greater influence over your life than anything else that is in the world. Will you meet with me in my word? Yes, It will be my delight to meet with you in your word. How often will you meet with me in my word? There is not a day that will go by that I do not need to hear from you. There is not a day that will go by that I will not be excited to hear all that you have to say to me. I will meet with you in your word every day. I will take hold of your word every day. I will let your word take hold of me every day. Then you will know the truth. Then you will be set free by my word as you come to know me and hold on to my teachings.

Lord, it was you who drew me to yourself. You rescued me from the dark and dreary life I was living. You made it possible for me to follow you as my Savior and Lord. You have helped me to hold on to your teachings. You set me free to follow and serve you. Amen

Key Question… What demonstrates for all to see that you really are following Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord?

Living It Out… Come to know Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord as you hold on to His teachings so He can set you free.

Seeing It Happen Have faith that coming to know Jesus Christ and His teachings will set you free as you follow and obey Him.

Get Ready To Share… Share with another person or your small group how you are coming to know Jesus Christ and follow His teachings.

Prayer To Bless Others… May you be set free by Jesus Christ as you believe in Him and hold on to His teachings.

The Word God Which Is At Work In You

Discipleship Devotional Study Guide - God's Word - 1 Thessalonians 2-13 - The Word God Which Is At Work In You - Growing As Disciples

Discipleship Devotional Study Guide – God’s Word – 1 Thessalonians 2-13 – The Word God Which Is At Work In You – Growing As Disciples

And we also thank God continually because, when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men, but as it actually is, the word of God, which is at work in you who believe. 1 Thessalonians 2:13 (NIV)

Receive My Word

Why is my word worthy to receive into your life? You are God. I am not. Your thoughts are so much higher than mine. You are all wise and powerful. I am not. You know the future. I do not. You made me. You know what is best for me. I do not. You know the direction I should walk in life. I do not. I desperately need all your guidance. I want all your help. You are ready, willing and able to help me. Yes, I am. That is why your word is worthy to receive into my life.

Will you receive my word into your life? Your word is more valuable to me than silver or gold. I will prize your word. I will pursue your word. I will hunger and thirst for your word. I will listen attentively to all that you have to say to me. I will meditate on your word. I will memorize your word. I will hide your word in my heart. I will keep your word on my mind. I will pray your word. I will declare your word. I will claim your word. I will hold on to your word. I will put your word into practice in all that I think, say and do. I will let your word guide the course of my life as I love, follow and serve you. Yes, you will. That is how I will receive your word into my life.

What has my word done in you as you have received it in your life? Your word has revived me. Your word has refreshed me. Your word has strengthened me. You have used your word to change my heart. You have used your word to transform my mind. Your word has allowed me to think your thoughts. You word has strengthened me to walk in your ways. You word has been like a sword to fight in me, with me and for me. You word has made me able to stand against evil. Your word has made me able to resist temptation. It has been my delight to hear you speaking to me in and through your word. It has been my joy to meet with you in your word. Your word has taught me. Your word has trained me. Your word has molded and helped my life. Your word has helped me to be a witness for you in the world. In every way you are using your word to make me more like you. Yes, I am. This is what your word has done for me as I have received it into my life. My work will continue in you as you receive my word into your life.

Lord, I believe in your word. I enthusiastically welcome your word into my life. I will meditate on and memorize your word. I will put your word into practice. Use your word to change my heart and transform my mind. Guide all I think, say and do by your word. Amen

Key Question… What from God’s word has He recently used to do His work in you?

Living It Out… Enthusiastically receive God’s word into your life so that He can use it to do His work in you.

Seeing It Happen Have faith that as you receive God’s word into your life He will use it to do His work in you.

On The Rock

Discipleship Devotional Study Guide - God's Word - Matthew 7:24 - On The Rock - Growing As Disciples

Discipleship Devotional Study Guide – God’s Word – Matthew 7:24 – On The Rock – Growing As Disciples

“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. Matthew 7:24 (NIV)

Into Practice

Your life is like a house. Just as a house will be built so will your life. Just as a house must have a firm foundation so also must your life. Choosing the materials on which you build the foundation of your life will be far more important than those on which you build the foundation of your house. The collapsing of a house would be painful and cost you time and money. The collapsing of your life would cost you everything. Consider carefully what is the foundation of your life. Choose today, the materials on which your life will be built. Many choose to build their lives on all that the world has to say to them. They choose words from the world over my word. They neither hear nor put my word into practice. Their lives will be swept away by the storms that are certain to come in life. Their foundations and lives will have been built on shaky and unreliable materials from the world and all that it has to say to them. Will you listen to my word? Will you put my word into practice? Yes Lord, I will.

I want the foundation of my life to be built on your word. The world and all that it is in it does not have my attention. The world and all its words don’t speak to me. It does not have my ear. I will not listen to the world. I will not put into practice the thoughts, values and opinions from this world. I will not live my life according to the patterns and practices of this world. You have my ear. You have my full attention. You have my heart and mind and life. I will listen attentively to you. I want to hear every word that you have to say to me. I will put into practice all of your word. I will follow you to wherever you lead me. I will do whatever you ask of me. You are in charge. You are in control. My destiny now and forever is in your hands. Nothing can shake me. Nothing can move me. You are my rock. You are my strength. You are my fortress. Yes, I am. I will hold on to you through all the storms of life. My life will never collapse. My future will never come to nothing. I have a future in heaven that is rock solid in you. Yes, you do. You are my Savior and Lord. You are my God and King. Yes, I am. My life is securely in your hands. Yes, it is.

Lord, my ears are open and my heart is receptive to your word. Help me to be like the wise man that hears your words and puts them into practice. Strengthen my life by your word so that I will be able to withstand the storms of life. Amen

Key Question… What are shaky and unreliable building materials you don’t want to use as the foundation of their life?

Living It Out… Hear and put God’s word into practice so that you will have a rock solid foundation that will withstand the storms of life.

Seeing It Happen Have faith that hearing and putting God’s word into practice will build a rock solid foundation for your life.

Get Ready To Share… Share with another person or your small group how you are hearing and putting God’s word into your daily practice.

My Heart’s Delight

Discipleship Devotional Study Guide - God's Word - Jeremiah 15:16 - My Heart's Delight - Growing As Disciples

Discipleship Devotional Study Guide – God’s Word – Jeremiah 15:16 – My Heart’s Delight – Growing As Disciples

When your words came, I ate them; they were my joy and my heart’s delight, for I bear your name, O LORD God Almighty. Jeremiah 15:16 (NIV)

Junk Food

I know that I have been feeding on junk food. How so? I have been feeding my heart and mind and life on what will not satisfy. I have fed my heart on junk food that will pull me in the wrong directions. I have fed my mind on junk food that will cause me to think thoughts that are not helpful to think. I have fed my life on junk food that will lead me down the wrong paths. This is not good. Yes, I know.

How will you change your diet? How will you feast on what will satisfy? How will you eliminate a junk food diet from your heart and mind and life? Those are good questions. I know where I will start. Where is that? I will start by feasting on your word. How will you do that? I will read your word. I will study your word. I will meditate on and memorize your word. I will pray your word. I will teach your word. I will take a firm grip on your word so it will take a firm grip on me. I will allow your word to change my heart, transform my mind and guide my life. If I fill myself up on your word will I lose my appetite for junk food that the world would like me to feed on? What do you think? I have more than just thoughts on the subject. What do you have? I have experience on the subject. Tell me about that. The more I feed on your word, the less of an appetite I have for the junk food thoughts and opinions and values of the world. That has been your experience? Yes, that has been my experience. I can say more. Go ahead, I’m listening. As I have feasted on your word, my appetite for your word has grown.  It has become my joy and delight to come to meet with you in your word. My heart and mind and life hungers for your word. You have fed and sustained and satisfied my life with your word. But, I can never get enough of your word. Your word keeps me wanting to come back for more. Feeding on your word has pushed the desire for junk food thoughts out of my heart, and mind and life. That is very good. Keep on meeting with me in my word. Keep on feasting on my word. Yes Lord, I will.

Lord, help me to eliminate mental, emotional, or spiritual junk food from my diet. Instead I want to feast on your word. Change my heart and transform my mind and guide my life by your word. Your word will be my joy and delight as I follow and serve you. Amen

Key Question… What junk food would you like to eliminate from your mental, emotional or spiritual diet?

Living It Out… Eliminate mental, emotional and spiritual junk food from your life and feast on God’s word instead.

Seeing It Happen Have faith that feasting on God’s word will give you joy and delight in Him.

Get Ready To Share… Share with another person or your small group how you are feasting on God’s word instead of on junk food.

Prayer To Bless Others… May you delight in feeding on God’s word.

Every Word Of God Is Flawless

Discipleship Devotional Study Guide - God's Word - Proverbs 30:5 - Every Word Of God Is Flawless - Growing As Disciples

Discipleship Devotional Study Guide – God’s Word – Proverbs 30:5 – Every Word Of God Is Flawless – Growing As Disciples

“Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. Proverbs 30:5 (NIV)

My Refuge

You are my refuge. I know that I can take shelter in you. You guard and guide my life. You watch over me. You set the course of my life. You help me to run the race that has been set before me. Your hand is on me. Your favor rests on me. You are with me to help me. For all these things I give you all my thanks and praise. That is very good.

What makes you so certain of all these things? How do you know for sure that I am your refuge and that you can take shelter in me? Your word is true. Your word is flawless. I can completely trust every one of your promises. Your word is worthy of my placing all my faith and complete trust in you. Of this I am absolutely certain. But that is not all, there is more. Like what? My life experience has taught me that your word is trustworthy and true. I have never regretted coming to you for help. It has never been a mistake to take refuge in you. You have sheltered me in every storm. You have helped me through every difficultly. I have been able to hold on to you and your promises as you have held on to me. That is very good.

There is something else that I would like to say. What’s that? I don’t evaluate your word. Your word evaluates me. All my thoughts and opinions and values are nothing in comparison to your word. What do you mean by that?  If any one of my thoughts and opinions or values are in conflict with your word, I know that it is time to change my thinking. Your thoughts are higher than my thoughts. Your ways are better than my ways. I welcome you to change any thought, opinion or value of mine that is not in agreement with your word. It is my prayer that you will bring my life into complete alignment with your word. That is a very good prayer. It is my desire to live a life that is fully pleasing to you. That is a very good desire.

What will you do with my word? I will listen attentively to your word. I will let your word dwell in me richly. I will meditate on your word. I will memorize your word. I will study your word. I will pray your word. I will put your word into practice. I will take a hold of your word, so it can take hold of me. That will be very good. Then you will truly be taking refuge in my word.

Lord, I know that your word is completely trustworthy and true. I will listen attentively to your word. I will obey your word. I will put your word into my daily practice. Thank you that your word has guarded and guided my life. I will take refuge in your word. Amen

Key Question… What from God’s word are you particularly relying on right now?

Living It Out… Rely on God’s word as you take refuge in Him.

Sword Of The Spirit

Discipleship Devotional Study Guide - Word Of God - Ephesians 6:17 - Sword Of The Spirit - Growing As Disciples

Discipleship Devotional Study Guide – Word Of God – Ephesians 6:17 – Sword Of The Spirit – Growing As Disciples

Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Ephesians 6:17 (NIV)

Stand And Fight

Do you want to be able to resist temptation? Do you want to be able to fight against evil? Yes, I want to be able to resist temptation and fight against evil. How can I resist temptation and fight against evil? You will never be able to resist temptation with your own strength. You will never be able to fight against evil under your own power. That does not come as a surprise to me. Why is that? I have been overcome by temptation and defeated by evil many times despite my very best efforts. I know without a doubt that I need all your help to resist temptation and fight against evil. My word will make you able to resist temptation. My word will make you able to fight against evil. My word is like a sword that will fight in you, with you and for you.

How will your word fight in me? You must take my word into your heart and mind. You must meditate on my word day and night. You must let my word dwell in you richly. You must feast on my word. Then my word will fight in you by changing your heart and transforming your mind. My word will help you will help to think my thoughts. My word will help you to turn away from the principles, patterns and practices of this world. You will come to want what I want. You will desire to go where I lead you to do all that I ask of you. Your word will help me to turn away from evil that is in the world. Yes, it will.

How will your word fight with me? My word will fight with you by changing all that you think, say and do. It will become your desire to do whatever pleases me. Temptation will lose its appeal to you. Evil will lose its grip on you. You will come to know my will and walk in my ways. I do want to know your will and walk in your ways. That is very good.

How will your word fight for me? My words will be in your heart. My words will be on your mind. My words will come out of your mouth. My word will speak against every temptation and evil that you will face. My word will strengthen you. My word will make you able to stand and fight. My word will do battle for you as you rely on me. My word will lead you in victory.  I will rely on you and your word to fight in me, with me and for me. I will allow your word to lead me in victory. I will rely on you and your word to make me able to stand against temptation and fight evil of every kind. That will be very good.

Holy Spirit, thank you that the word of God is a sword in my hand that I can use to fight battles in life. You have used God’s word to fight in me, with me, and for me. The word of God has strengthened me so I can resist temptation and stand against every evil. Amen

Key Question… When has the Holy Spirit brought a Scripture to your heart and mind to help you fight a battle in life?

Living It Out… Memorize a Scripture that the Holy Spirit can use to fight a battle that you have been facing in life.

Seeing It Happen Have faith that the Holy Spirit will use God’s word to fight in you, with you, and for you in the battles of life.

Holding Fast

Discipleship Devotional Study Guide - God's Word - Philippians 2:14-16 - Holding Fast - Growing As Disciples

Discipleship Devotional Study Guide – God’s Word – Philippians 2:14-16 – Holding Fast – Growing As Disciples

Do all things without grumbling or disputing, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast to the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did not run in vain or labor in vain. Philippians 2:14-16 (ESV)

Shine Like A Light

That is exactly what I want to do. What’s that? I want to shine like a light in the world. I want my life to be a testimony for you. I don’t want anything to blemish my witness for you. That is a very good desire. What might hinder your testimony and witness for me in the world? If I were no different than anyone else in this crooked and twisted generation, then my life would offer no testimony or witness for you. No, it would not. Are there any behaviors that you want to be particularly on guard against right now? Yes, I don’t want to be a grumbler or a complainer or a disputer. Those are dangerous attitudes for me to hold. Those attitudes provide a direct threat to my ability to be a witness and testimony for you in the world. Yes, they do. Beyond that, you are not pleased with grumbling and complaining and disputing. No, I am not. You have called me to be grateful and thankful. You desire that I bring peace and harmony wherever I go, in whatever I do. Yes, I do.

How will you be able to stop being a grumbler or complainer or a disputer? Not, with my own strength and abilities, that is for sure. I will need you to change the attitudes of my heart and the thoughts of my mind. How do you think I will change the attitudes of your heart and the thoughts of your mind? What tool will I use to change the attitudes of your heart and the thoughts of you mind? You will use your word to change the attitudes of my heart and the thoughts of my mind. As I hold fast to your word I will be changed. You will use your word to change my heart and transform my mind. Yes, I will.

How will you hold fast to my word? I will keep your word ever before me. I will meditate on your word day and night. I will hide your word in my heart, so I will not sin against you. I will let your word dwell in me richly. That will be very good.

What will be assured when you hold fast to my word? As I continue to hold fast to your word, I can be sure that my labor for you will never be in vain. As I continue to hold fast to your word, I can be positive that I will run well the race that you have set before me. Yes, you can. Will you keep on holding fast to my word? Yes Lord, I will. That will be very good. Then you will shine for me like a light in the world.

Lord, every day I will hold fast to your word. I will allow your word to change the attitude of my heart and thoughts of my mind. I will not grumble or complain so I can be an unblemished light for you in the world. Help me to run well and labor fruitfully for you. Amen

Key Question… How has the Lord used His word to change the attitude of your heart and the thoughts of your mind?

Living It Out… Make it your daily practice to hold fast to God’s word so you will run well and labor fruitfully.

Seeing It Happen Have faith that holding fast to God’s word will help you to run well and labor fruitfully.

Get Ready To Share… Share with another person or your small group how God’s word is helping you to run well and labor fruitfully.

Prayer To Bless Others… May you hold fast to God’s word, so you will run well and labor fruitfully for Him.

Faith Comes By Hearing

Discipleship Devotional Study Guide - God's Word - Romans 10:17- Faith Comes By Hearing - Growing As Disciples

Discipleship Devotional Study Guide – God’s Word – Romans 10:17- Faith Comes By Hearing – Growing As Disciples

Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ. Romans 10:17 (NIV)

Hear

What does it mean to hear? That is a very good and important question. I will listen to your answer. I thought you might say that. I will tell you one thing. What’s that? Hearing that will cause my faith to grow is not passive. No, it’s not. Hearing that goes in one of my ears and out the other will not benefit me in the least. No, it will not.

In order to hear your word, I will need to take action. What kind of action? I will need to set a specific time and place to meet with you in your word. An I will meet with you when I get around to it approach will not work at all. Days and weeks and months and maybe even years could go by without me ever meeting with you in your word. With that approach, I will hardly ever hear your word. My faith would not be strengthened by your word. No, it would not.

Once I begin to regularly hear your word, I need to take the next step. What’s the next step? The next step is to accept your word into my heart and mind and life. Accepting your word includes taking steps like meditating on and memorizing your word. Just a half-hearted mental assent to your word will not do at all. No, it will not. I really need to let your word dwell in me richly. I certainly need to allow your word to change my heart and transform my mind. Yes, you do.

Finally, to indicate that I have fully heard your word, I need to put it into practice. Your word needs to become the foundation of my life. Your word needs to guide the thoughts I think, words I speak and deeds I do. In this step, I need to go where you guide me. I need to do what you ask of me. I need to allow your word to work in and through my life so that I will be able to bear fruit for your kingdom and bring glory to your name.  Yes, you do.

When I take all three of these steps, I am pretty sure that I will have truly heard your word. That’s good. When I take all three of these steps, I am positive that you will have been able to use your word to grow my faith. Yes, I will. That is what I want. That is my desire. That is the prayer of my heart. That is very good.

Lord, thank you for your word. I will make it my daily priority to meet with you in your word. I want to hear all that you have to say to me. I will accept your word and take it into my heart and mind and life. Help my faith to grow as I put your word into practice. Amen

To Teach Us

Discipleship Devotional Study Guide - God's Word - Romans 15:4 - Teach Me - Growing As Disciples

Discipleship Devotional Study Guide – God’s Word – Romans 15:4 – Teach Me – Growing As Disciples

For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. Romans 15:4 (NIV)

Teach Me

Will you teach me? Will you train me? Will you make yourself available to me? What do you mean by that? My word has been written down for you. My word is designed to teach and train you. Will you study my word? Will you take my word into your heart and mind and life? Yes, I will take your word into my heart and mind and life. I will allow you to guard and guide my life, by your word. How often should I study your word? How frequently should I let your word dwell in me richly? How often and how frequently do you want me to teach and train you? That is a good question. There is no time that I don’t want you to be teaching and training me. I always want you to be guarding and guiding my life by your word. That is very good.

So, what will you do? I’m starting to understand how your teaching and training will work. How so? You are the teacher. I am the student. You are always ready, willing and able to teach and train me. Yes, I am. Am I always ready, willing and able to be taught and trained by you? That is the question. Will I set apart a daily time and place to meet with you in your word? That is another question. Will I carry what you are teaching me from your word with me throughout my day? That is the final question. In other words, will you meditate on my word day and night. Will you keep my word ever before you, in your heart and mind and life? Yes, I will keep your word ever before me. Yes, I will meditate on your word day and night. Yes, I will set apart a daily time and place to meet with you in your word. That will be very good.

What do you expect to learn as you study my word? I expect that I will come to know you. Why is that? I will be quieting myself before you. I will be listening to you as you speak to me. That’s good. What else? I expect that I will learn to walk in your ways. Why is that? I will be hearing and putting into practice all that you are teaching me. That’s good. What else? I will receive everything that I need. I will receive everything you want to give me. Like what? To name a few, I will receive endurance through trials, encouragement through difficulty and hope in seemingly hopeless situations. What I will receive from you will be without limit, as I meet with you in your word. That’s true. Keep on meeting with me in my word. Yes Lord, I will. I know that you will teach and train me with your word. That is very good.

Lord, thank you that your word has been written down, so I can be taught by it. Your word has given me hope in seemingly hopeless situations, encouragement through struggles and patience endurance through all the trials of life. I will gladly study your word. Amen
